2009 - INAUGURAL YEAR FOR TEEPEE CREEK STAMPEDE RODEO QUEEN
2009 was an exciting year for the Teepee Creek Stampede as the first Miss Teepee Creek Stampede was crowned. Miss Teepee Creek Stampede will be a representative of the Stampede, of the community, and overall, the western way of life. Along with appearing at the Teepee Creek Stampede, Miss Teepee Creek Stampede will be making appearances at events in the surrounding Peace Country throughout her year-long reign.
Miss Teepee Creek Stampede is a great opportunity for young women of the community. If you are between the ages of 16 and 21, you are invited to enter the competition, which will be held leading up to and during this year’s Stampede, July 14-17. The competition will consist of several components including but not limited to horsemanship, public speaking, modeling, and photogenics. Entrants will be given opportunities to network and develop lifelong skills.
Miss Teepee Creek Stampede is the perfect stepping stone for aspiring rodeo royalty who hope to compete for Alberta High School Rodeo Queen, Miss Grande Prairie Stompede, and Miss Rodeo Canada.
The board of the Teepee Creek Stampede Association has thrown there support behind the Queen Competition and will be awarding a $1000 scholarship to the young woman crowned Miss Teepee Creek Stampede 2022.
