Kids Wild Horse Races
JUNIOR WILD HORSE RACE
WILD PONY RACE
- up to 4 teams of 3 will run Saturday and Sunday after the wild horse race at the end of the main rodeo
- Buckles for the team with the highest point average over the weekend.
- For teens ages 13-17
- Must provide own helmet & gloves; protective vests will be available if they don't have one
- $45 per team to enter, must be paid in full and waiver signed by each team members' parent/guardian before racing, can be done at the TP rodeo office on rodeo weekend.
- Be ready and behind the chutes before ladies barrel racing
- Entries taken up to 1:00pm on the day of but pre-entry is preferred; email Sherene Hawkes at sherenehawkes@hotmail.com and have all kids' names, team name and if they want to race both days.
WILD PONY RACE
- 6 teams of 3 will run Friday and Saturday with the top 6 going the short-go on Sunday.
- Races run after the chuckwagon grand entry in the evening.
- Buckles to the team who rides their pony in the shortest time on Sunday
- For kids ages 8-12
- Top 6 teams will be notified prior to Sunday.
- Helmets and vests will be available if they don't have one
- $30 per team to enter, must be paid in full and waiver signed by each team members' parent/guardian before racing, this can be done at the rodeo office.
- Be ready and behind the chutes at 5:30pm on race day
- Entries taken up to 4:00pm on the day of but pre-entry is preferred; email Sherene Hawkes at sherenehawkes@hotmail.com and have all kids' names, team name and which day they would like to race
Sheepee Terror
- 12 kids per day will compete in the Sheepee Terror before the main pro rodeo performance.
- Buckles up for grabs for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- 6 Years and Under only.
- No equipment required, helmets are recommended.
- $40 to enter and a waiver must be signed prior to riding.
- Starts at noon, don’t be late.
- Pre-entries only for Sheepee Terror; email Sherene Hawkes at sherenehawkes@hotmail.com with your childs name and age and day you prefer.
Wild Cow Milking
*****All entries taken day-of at TP rodeo office beside the teepee*****
- Wild Cow Milking: teams of 3, $60/team/day, races run Saturday and Sunday.
Wild Horse Race
- Wild Horse Racing: teams of 3, $120/team/day, races ran Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
