Miss Teepee Creek Stampede 2011 Brittany Meen
is a 15 year cowgirl from Debolt, Alberta.

The daughter of John and Brenda Meen, Brittany is very active in the community. She has been a 4-H member, is part of the Teepee Creek Gymkhana Club and the Northern Redneck Riders and she can be found barrel racing and pole bending at local rodeos around the Peace Country. Brittany aspires to one day become a pediatric nurse.

"An opportunity that I will never forget has been given to me to promote the Teepee Creek Stampede and the western way of life. This is a dream come true for me to work with children and be a role model for them to look up to. I am excited for the chance to grow as a person and meet many new people. 'If you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true.'"

Brittany will spend the next year of her reign travelling throughout Alberta and the Peace Country proudly representing the Teepee Creek Stampede at rodeos and other community events.

2010 TP Stampede Rodeo Queen2010 Miss Teepee Creek Stampede 2010 Miranda Pybus was born and raised on a cattle operation just outside of Spirit River. She has been a 4-H beef member, barrel races with the Northern Redneck Riders, ABRA and PCBRA, and she enjoys volleyball, basketball and swimming. Miranda plans to one day become a veterinarian or work in the field of agriculture.

“This is an opportunity that has been given to me and I will never forget it. I am very excited to promote the Teepee Creek Stampede and the sport of rodeo. This is not just an opportunity it is a life changing experience to grow as a person and meet many new people as well as make many new friends. There is one thing in life that people should live by and know, ‘It doesn’t matter what people who don’t know you think about you, it only matters what you see when you think about yourself!”

Throughout her reign, Miranda will travel throughout the Peace country attending numerous rodeos and community events.

2009 - INAUGURAL YEAR FOR TEEPEE CREEK STAMPEDE RODEO QUEEN


Jodi Ross - Miss Teepee Creek Stampede Queen 20092009 was an exciting year for the Teepee Creek Stampede as the first Miss Teepee Creek Stampede was crowned. 

Miss Teepee Creek Stampede2009, Jodi Ross, will be a representative of the Stampede, of the community, and overall, the western way of life.  Along with appearing at the Teepee Creek Stampede, Miss Teepee Creek Stampede will be making appearances at events in the surrounding Peace Country throughout her year-long reign.

Jodi Ross - 2009 Stampede QueenMiss Teepee Creek Stampede is a great opportunity for young women of the community.  If you are between the ages of 14 and 17, you are invited to enter the competition, which will be held leading up to and during this year’s Stampede, July 9-12.  The competition will consist of several components including but not limited to horsemanship, public speaking, modeling, and photogenics.   Entrants will be given opportunities to network and develop lifelong skills.

Miss Teepee Creek Stampede is the perfect stepping stone for aspiring rodeo royalty who hope to compete for Alberta High School Rodeo Queen, Miss Grande Prairie Stompede, and Miss Rodeo Canada. 

The board of the Teepee Creek Stampede Association has thrown there support behind the Queen Competition and will be awarding a $500 scholarship to the young woman crowned Miss Teepee Creek Stampede 2009.
