We are all volunteers - join our crew!

The Teepee Creek Stampede Association is all run by volunteers.  We are proud to have such an incredible group of people that do what they do because they want to help make the Teepee Creek Stampede and the community a success.    We will do our best to give you your first choice of volunteer opportunity, but please understand that some positions may be a priority to fill over others.

Teepee Creek School

The heart of any community is the school.   Teepee Creek school services about 80 students from junior kindergarten to grade 8.  Buildings facility features 6 classrooms, refurbished gymnasium, new office, library, staffroom and commercial kitchen.

Teepee Creek School runs a compressed school week resulting in an organization base of nine school days per two week block rather than the five school days per one week block. Kindergarten attends Tuesday/Thursday full days.  Jr. Kindergarten attends Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 12:30-3:30 pm.

The school offers special programs that include speech pathology services, counseling, early literacy intervention, and individual classroom project program.  Students also participate in extracurricular events that include sports, year-end junior high trip and cultural events. An active parent group recently organized the construction of a new playground facility for all to enjoy. Many parents participate in the School Council meetings.
